We have a diverse team of dedicated people at Britannia Bradshaw and our commercial moving division BCL. We'd like to introduce you to just a few of the people who make it all happen in our Manchester office. Shown above is one of our European removals crews, just returning from a week on the road.

Malcolm has been in the removals industry since school. He purchased John Bradshaw & Son in 1983, and joined the Britannia group in 1984. Malcolm's main activities are the day to day management of Britannia Bradshaw, our household moving division, and Bradshaw Corporate Logistics (BCL) our office and commercial moving division. When not working, Malcolm's favourite pasttime is sailing and following the fortunes of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
Malcolm is married to Mel, who also works in the business, and has two children; Alexis, who works in the industry in London and Piers who works for BCL.
Find out more about Malcolm and the history of Britannia Bradshaw from the September 1984 article about him in the British Association of Removers magazine, Removals and Storage.
Diane joined Britannia Bradshaw in 1999 following 6 years in Hong Kong, working for an international removal company. During this time, she travelled extensively around Asia and Australia. Her role entails managing crews, quoting moves, and liaising with customers from the first initial enquiry through to final delivery. Diane also holds a degree in biochemistry.
Ernie has been in the removals business since 1979, and started with Britannia Bradshaw in 1999. His main focus is international surveys and booking. He's also involved with warehousing, marketing, and removals management.
Ernie is currently the Chairman of the British Association of Removers North West Region.
Mel originally started with Britannia Stubbs in 1992, which was purchased by Britannia Bradshaw in 1995. She coordinates the domestic household moving, storage, overseas moves and raises the office and commercial division invoicing on a day to day basis.
She enjoys travelling and especially spending time with her husband Malcolm in Goa, where they have a villa (although she would like to spend a bit more time there, it is usually only over the Christmas and New Year period, when it is fairly quiet in the UK in the removals industry).
Keeley is a removals coordinator, working with domestic household moving, storage, and overseas moves.
Stephanie is our dedicated Accounts Manager, and aside from Malcolm is the longest serving member of the team.
Phil began working in the removals industry in 1986, and joined BCL in 2008 as UK Sales Director. He has been in the removals industry for his entire career - except for a three year period he spent in Kenya as the head of Aid into Africa.
Phil is an ordained minister, has lived on a narrowboat on a the Leeds and Liverpool canal, a qualified PADI MSDT (Master Scuba Diver Trainer), a licensed Kenya Wild Life Service Ranger who regularly took clients on safari, and a keen biker.
John began in the removals industry in 1979 and has been with BCL for 11 years. He began his career as a porter and has worked his way up over the years. He is BCL's Operations Manager for Manchester.
Pamela has been employed by BCL for two years. She undertakes the day to day administration duties for the sales staff and completes tender documents and pre-qualification questionnaires to compete for new business.
Pamela enjoys walking, gardening, playing pool, and has been spotted on a Segway!
Paul has been employed by BCL as an Account Manager for two years. He's been the project manager on a number of larger (1,500+ people) moves for BCL. He's not afraid of rolling up his sleeves and moving desks when the need arises, either.

He obtained his MBA from the New York Institute of Technology near New York City, where he attended on a full scholarship.
From time to time, the office dog comes in to watch over operations. His main tasks are to chew his bone, play with his toys, sleep and announce visitors to our office.
