When you're moving overseas, you also have the option to have your items sent by air freight. Our longstanding relationships with the world's leading air transport companies allow Britannia Bradshaw to arrange air freight for your items in an efficient and professional manner.
Although smaller packages can be sent individually, we usually need to overcase (placing all your packed cartons into a large, strengthened cardboard box) before they can be airlifted. At Britannia Bradshaw, we use modular packing cases designed to fit into standard air shipping aircases.

When you're moving to a new country, it is easy to concentrate on the logistics of your move and not give much thought to transferring your pension or exchanging your money. However, this can end up costing you far more than you realise.
Did you know that you may be able to pay for the cost of your international removal by utilising a currency transfer service? The savings you make in the currency exchange rates over bank currency exchange rates is often that substantial, and many of our customers have paid for their international moves with these savings.
It is easy to do, but you can't overlook or neglect your pension once you've emigrated from the UK. Withdrawls that fall outside the rules of your new country and HMRC can trigger penalties and taxes, so it is always best to obtain professional advice before you transfer your pension.

Sometimes with an overseas removal you need to store your belongings before they're loaded onto the ship or at your destination.
Britannia Bradshaw International Removals & Storage can store your belongings in our modern, secure warehouse until you've located housing and are ready to receive your belongings in your new country.
For short term moves abroad, it often makes more sense to store the majority of your belongings in the UK for safekeeping until you return, particularly if you plan on renting out your home.
Before you make an international move, it is best to sort through your paperwork and decide what you don't need to bring with you. There's no sense in moving paperwork that you don't need, especially when you're travelling to another country.
