During the pre-move survey we will advise the most cost effective way to ship your effects. They can be shipped in their own container or as part of a shared load consignment.

Our door to door service  includes customs clearance and delivery to your new home.

Popular destinations for 2009 are removals to New Zealand,  USA and the United Arab Emirates. 

International removals to Australia has continued to grow, please see customs website for advice, we have also included the customs forms for download along with details for shipping cars. 

Sole use containers will normally be packed outside your home, sealed and transported directly to the docks for shipment. Alternatively,for shared consignments we will transfer them to our consolidation warehouse where they will be stored safely until being loaded with other effects going to the same destination.

Items required urgently can be forwarded by air. Transit time is normally 10  to 14  days door to door.

Britannia Bradshaw will pack these items in to airline approved cartons or cases.

For smaller sea freight consignments to remote destinations, your effects can be case packed for shared loading.

We will create a tailor-made move plan, detailing exactly what is to be moved and whether the packing team need any special equipment and materials for Antiques or large and unusual items

A range of packing materials is used for protecting small items including bubble and polychips for the more delicate pieces.which are then carefully placed in strong cartons. All furniture and larger items are wrapped in multi-layer export grade wrappers. Card can be used for extra protection.

High value or unusual items can be further protected by custom casing.

Once packed all items are marked with name, destination and inventory number.

Transit times can vary for different destinations, your surveyor will advise once the method of shipment is known.
