Our removal men
It takes a special kind of person to become a removal man. It is a tough job, and for our European drivers and porters, it often means being out on the road for weeks at a time. However, at the same time being a removal man is also very rewarding and interesting job, where two days are rarely the same.
We employ some of the best removal men in the business, and most of them have worked for us for years. Below are profiles of just a few of our men, more will be added shortly!
Our removal men are awarded for their work with our customers, based on client feedback. View our removal man awards for Manchester and our award-winning removal men in Birmingham.
Paul has spent the majority of his 30 year career in removals as a driver and removal man. He was the first domestic removal man that Britannia Bradshaw employed in Birmingham. He enjoys the diversity of the job, with different people, locations, and situations every day - no two jobs are the same. He also acts as a mentor to other removal men, and has been the winner of the Removal Man of the Year for our Birmingham branch for 2014, 2015, and 2016, which is based on customer feedback.
Outside of the office, Paul is a former rugby player - and current fan - and also is a competitive darts player.
Jamie has worked for Britannia Bradshaw for over six years, beginning his career with us when he was a teenager and working his way up to driver. He loves the removals industry, especially the camaraderie with his coworkers, the diversity of the job and building relationships with customers during the course of their removal.
Outside of work, Jamie's passionate about travel; his favourite destination he's visited so far has been Greece, and he's hoping to visit Australia soon. He also loves tattoos, sporting 15 of them and appreciating the artwork involved.
