While there is currently free movement of European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) nationals in the EU, Switzerland and Norway, there's more involved with moving in Europe than just packing your bags and arriving. We understand the European market like few other removal companies, and have been safely moving household and personal effects for thousands of customers to every destination in Europe including Switzerland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, and Ireland for generations.

Removals from Europe to the UK
Return loads to the UK are not a problem. Our European removals team is continually on the move between Europe and the UK, and we can arrange a convenient and cost-effective time for your European removal to the UK. This is often a preferable solution for customers over local firms in Europe, as we don't like to bring our vehicles back empty.
Brexit & European removals
Brexit may impact your removal to Europe, or Europe to the UK, including the transport of your belongings.
If you're moving from Europe or an EU country - or moving to Europe and the EU to the UK - you probably have questions regarding the transport and importing of your belongings to your new country.
During the transition period (scheduled to end on 31 December 2020), there are currently no changes to the free movement of people and goods between the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Should the United Kingdom decide to end the transition period early, requirements and processes may change. We will update our customers if circumstances and regulations change.
Packing for your European move
Packing for a European move is a specialist skill, and Britannia Bradshaw European Removers have experienced and professionally trained staff to provide this service for you. Using a modern range of environmentally friendly, purpose-made packing materials, our team will arrive punctually at your home to prepare your possessions for collection. Detailed inventories are prepared for the onward move to your destination or for storage.

How are our appointments carried out
In the current times you might prefer that we don't visit your house in person to carry out a survey. This is fully understandable and we can just as easily undertake the survey by video call, using whatever method you're comfortable with, usually FaceTime or WhatsApp.

George, Ben and Nicholas were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, removed furniture and boxes from our old house on time and delivered them into our new home efficiently. They were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were particularly appreciative of their efforts in dismantling and reassembling our bed, which saved a huge amount of work for us. After a stressful few days in advance of the move, it was very reassuring to be in the hands of these professionals. They are a credit to the company.
